When you have multiple people managing your business, you need to give them access based on their role in the organization. Our software allows you to offer access for admins, limited users and drivers.
The benefit of adding your drivers to the system is the ability to monitor and create notifications based on their behavior, in addition to monitoring your assets.
Adding your drivers also offers them the ability to use the mobile app to assign jobs, upload pictures, receive notifications and more.

How to Add, Edit, and Delete Users
Adding New Users
- Click ‘Setup’ from the top toolbar and then choose ‘User Management’ from the left menu.
- Click ‘ADD NEW USER +’ in the top right corner.

- Enter an email address and user name for the new user.
- This is what the user will use to sign in to their account and where initial login information is sent.
- Choose a user type.
- Administrator:
- No restrictions.
- View all users and vehicles.
- Modify global system settings in Setup.
- Add new users and manage devices.
- Manage Groups and Group assignments.
- Update billing information, view invoices, or purchase new devices.
- Limited user:
- Can only access and manage information for all vehicles and users based on their group assignment.
- View user and vehicle locations, history, maintenance, alerts, and reports for all the vehicles within their assigned group.
- Can not modify global system settings in Setup.
- Can not add new users and vehicles.
- Can not manage groups and group assignments.
- Can not update billing information, view invoices, or purchase new devices.
- Driver:
- Can only view their own activity from the mobile app.
- Can not modify global system settings in Setup.
- Can not add new users and vehicles.
- Can not manage groups and group assignments.

- Administrator:

- You can assign the user to a group or vehicle.
- Click ‘SAVE.’
Your newly added user will receive an email with instructions to access the portal and set up an individual password.
NOTE: If the new users do not receive the initial login information email, have them reset their password by following these steps:
- Go to the Linxup login page.
- Select ‘Forgot Password.’
- Enter the user email to receive the verification code.
- Enter the verification code and new password to reset the password.
- Log in using the user email and new password.
Assigning Drivers
To assign drivers from the Map page:
- Click ‘Map’ from the top toolbar and then choose your tracker from the ‘Trackers’ list.
- Select the edit pencil on the tracker you are looking to assign a driver to.
- Choose the driver from the ‘Assigned Driver’ dropdown menu.
- Select ‘SAVE’ to apply the changes.

To assign drivers from the Setup page:
- Click ‘Setup’ from the top toolbar and then choose ‘User Management’ from the left menu.
- Select the edit pencil on the driver you will assign to a tracker.
- Select the ‘Assigned Vehicle’ dropdown menu to choose the tracker you want to assign the driver to.
- Select ‘SAVE’ to apply the changes.
